East High Knight, Class of 65 Dick Winderl was one of a kind

Things will never be the same again at Bremerton Automotive and Repair on the
corner of Sheridan and Perry Avenue in Bremerton. Owner Dick Winderl, the man
that made it hum, the unofficial Mayor of Manette and key member of the mysterious
Perry Avenue Merchants Association, died Jan. 14 at the age of 70 of pancreatic cancer.
